This is the draft for my double page spread. I wanted it to uphold the same theme as the cover page, so I included the same colours, font and overall layout, as to keep consistency flowing through my magazine. Consequently, I believe, the consistent layout throughout makes it look far more professional and 'put together'. Again, as this is a draft, changes will inevitably be made, and the pictures of Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie, will be replaced with my own. Also the context of the interview will be changed to fit with the artist pictured, when my own pictures will be featured.
This looks good so far Katie. Think about what you are going to include to fill the blank space that you have so far.
ReplyDeleteCan you also comment on why you chose to set the page out this way as opposed to having a picture on one page and text on the other? It's interesting to see subverted conventions but you need to explain the reasons for doing your layout this way.
